Regression is not necessary
In the style of hypnotherapy I practice, there is little or no need to return to the very circumstance or memory that allowed or caused the negative thought pattern you seek to change. Returning to the old memory only further entrains this bad thought process in the mind.
Let us not bring the old memory up again. Let us move forward with better thoughts and feelings. Let us dream new dreams set new goals and look forward and upward, not backward and ago. Time is now, we can’t correct the past, it is what was. We can only replace stale thought processes that have become engrained with new better ideas and choices.
We should not revisit old memories to further engrain bad or useless thought processes. Our energy and time is better used setting future goals that inspire the change you are seeking, imagine the new scenarios and begin to feel new, better emotions and thoughts. New , better memories with new and better emotions and thoughts allow us to leave the past in the past and discover our new todays which lead to much happier tomorrows.
